James Yap is poised to make his debut for Blackwater

The Philippine Basketball Association has announced a revised schedule for Season 48 Philippine Cup, with the highlight being the debut of two-time league Most Valuable Player James Yap for Blackwater against Meralco on February 28 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Originally slated for March 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the Bossing-Bolts game is now set for 4:30 p.m., followed by the TNT-Rain or Shine match at 7:30 p.m. on opening night.

Previously, the opening day was supposed to feature Terrafirma against Converge, followed by NLEX and NorthPort at the Ynares Center. However, under the revised schedule, Blackwater will now face TNT on Saturday, March 2, followed by Rain or Shine and Meralco in the main game.
