Eala achieves a new career-high ranking in the WTA

Filipina tennis standout Alex Eala has once again made strides in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, as reported on Tuesday.

As of February 26, Eala has ascended to the 180th spot in the world rankings, marking an impressive jump of 8 positions from her previous rank of 188th as of February 19.

This achievement signifies a new career high for Eala in singles rankings, surpassing her previous best of 184th.

Eala, who is 18 years old, took to her Instagram story to share the news of her updated rankings.

Currently, Eala is in Slovakia, gearing up for the next International Tennis Federation tournament. She is set to face Anna Bondár in a rematch, after being eliminated by Bondár in the quarterfinals in Portugal the previous Wednesday.
