Pres. Marcos spearheads the distribution of more than 3,000 land titles in Caraga

President Bongbong Marcos took the lead on Friday, February 16, in the distribution of over 3,184 land titles to agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in the Caraga region.

Addressing the audience during the event held in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, President Marcos emphasized that while significant progress has been made in the distribution of land titles under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, there is still much more to accomplish.

“My goal is to complete the distribution of land covered by the Agrarian Reform Program before the end of my term,” he stated.

President Marcos underscored that distributing land titles is just one aspect of the government’s commitment to improving the lives of farmers. He emphasized the importance of freeing farmers from debt and other constraints that hinder their progress, stating that as long as farmers remain burdened by debt, the country as a whole cannot progress.

As part of the event, President Marcos also participated in the ceremonial turnover of farm machinery and equipment (FMEs) and led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for farm-to-market roads (FMRs) markers in Agusan Del Sur.
