In Antipolo City, a couple was attacked by riding-in-tandem assailants

Abad Antonius Lazaro was killed and his wife Grace Lazaro wounded in a riding-in-tandem attack in Barangay Mayamot, Antipolo City on March 20, according to the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO). The assailants fired shots at their vehicle while they were cruising along Soliven Street on their black Honda Jazz. Abad died instantly, while Grace sustained injuries to her left leg. The perpetrators fled towards Masinag, Antipolo City, prompting authorities to conduct a thorough investigation using CCTV footage and witness interviews to identify and pursue the suspects. Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas of Police Regional Office (PRO) 4A vowed to hold the suspects accountable and urged the public to provide any information regarding their identity. Antipolo City Police continue their follow-up operations, while Rizal PPO’s Forensic Group conducts a technical investigation.
