The “Sustainable Choices” program includes offerings in Clean Beauty and Better Packaging categories, featuring products with reduced plastics, refill packs, and ethically-sourced ingredients. These initiatives aim to reduce environmental impact while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
In addition to product initiatives, Watsons Philippines organizes projects like the “Reuse with Watsons: A Sustainability Art Exhibit,” highlighting the importance of the 3Rs — reduce, reuse, and recycle. The exhibit showcased artworks made from upcycled materials, promoting environmental consciousness.
Furthermore, Watsons Philippines conducts medical missions and provides free healthcare services to underserved communities. In collaboration with AS Watson’s Next Gen Sustainability Committee, the company sponsors life-changing surgeries for patients in need.
Looking ahead to 2024, Watsons Philippines will continue to focus on its sustainability pillars — People, Product, and the Planet. Initiatives include encouraging shoppers to bring their own bags and increasing employee volunteerism in medical missions across the country.
