Manila Coffee Festival 2024 promises to be grander and more delightful
The Manila Coffee Festival 2024 is set to dazzle coffee enthusiasts with its sixth edition, promising an even more immersive and delightful experience than before. While still celebrating the rich coffee culture of the Philippines, this year’s event is expanding its focus to include the bean’s sweet counterpart: cacao.
Introducing the “Cacao Alley,” festival-goers can explore locally-processed single-origin cacao and indulge in authentic chocolates sourced from Maranaw, Sarangani, Cotabato, and Batangas. Additionally, sustainable products featuring the popular bonbon will be showcased, offering a tantalizing array of treats for chocolate lovers.
Returning as a staple of the Manila Coffee Festival is “The Single Origin Bar,” which champions Filipino coffee farmers by featuring an expanded selection of single-origin coffees for attendees to sample and enjoy. Each cup offers a taste of its unique heritage, accompanied by cultural performances from the communities that cultivate them.
Adding to the excitement, the festival will feature expertly crafted coffee cocktails made from single-origin Arabica, Robusta, and Liberica beans, infused with flavorful SHOTT syrup, available at the “Double Shot Bar.”
Guests can choose from various pass options to experience the festival, with the Regular Pass priced at P350 for a single day, or the Espresso Pass at P850 for three days of unlimited access. Additionally, discounted rates are available for students, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities (PWD) at P200.
Joining the lineup of exhibitors are beloved specialty roasters like Yardstick Coffee, artisan brunch spot Maker and Made, and handcrafted ice cream shop Papa Diddi’s. Attendees can also look forward to engaging coffee talks and exciting art competitions throughout the event.
