A 21-year-old woman from Isabela has shared that she’s earning an impressive income of P65,000 to P90,000 per month by selling ice. Jodielyn Ugalde, featured on the GMA program “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho,” revealed that her family initially started producing ice for their eatery. However, their venture expanded as people in their community began purchasing ice from them.

“We started selling ice because of our eatery. Instead of buying ice from others, we decided to make our own,” Jodielyn explained. “Initially, we borrowed a freezer from my uncle. Slowly, customers started coming to us, and the demand kept growing.”

Now, Jodielyn and her family supply ice to various markets, earning a substantial income each month. Their customer base has expanded, with daily orders steadily increasing. They now deliver ice to wholesale markets and public markets, with their minimum daily delivery ranging from 350 to 500 pieces of ice.

Jodielyn expressed her surprise at their success, noting that their ice-selling business has provided opportunities for her siblings to pursue education and fulfill their desires. Their improved financial situation allows them to afford groceries weekly and meet their basic needs comfortably.

Due to her significant role in the ice business, Jodielyn has earned the title of “Yelo Queen” in Isabela. She has also started vlogging about their business, unexpectedly gaining attention and even going viral online.

“I now vlog about our business. I didn’t expect it to go viral. People comment, ‘Are you the CEO of ice? Are you the Yelo Queen?'” Jodielyn shared.
