GMA Network’s EDSA billboard showcases talented women

Northbound motorists at Quezon City’s Edsa-Timog intersection get a welcome distraction from traffic jams thanks to GMA Network’s towering billboard. Amidst the slow crawl, they’re treated to a striking display of 10 glamorous women in bikinis, skillfully captured by photographer Mark Nicdao for Sparkle GMA Artists Center.

Meet the Sparkle 10: Liezel Lopez, Shuvee Etrata, Faith Da Silva, Kate Valdez, Lexi Gonzales, Rabiya Mateo, Ashley Ortega, Angel Guardian, Elle Villanueva, and Lianne Valentin. Selected from GMA’s talented pool of female artists, these ladies represent the network’s new generation of leading ladies.

Contrary to initial assumptions, the Sparkle 10 aren’t being packaged as mere “sexy stars.” They’re recognized as top female artists across various genres, embodying women empowerment. As Lawrence Tan, consultant for imaging and branding, proudly notes, it’s a fabulous celebration of their talent and diversity.

For Liezel Lopez, this recognition is a testament to her journey from a contestant on “Star Struck” to a premier actress known for her captivating roles. Similarly, Rabiya Mateo, Miss Universe Philippines 2020, finds fulfillment in her diverse projects and aims to inspire others through her work.
