The Mathematics Tour brought Sheerios, myself included, on a nostalgic journey through Ed Sheeran’s hits at the SMDC Festival Grounds last March 9. Ed’s return to the Philippines after seven years was marked by a memorable performance, opening with “Tides” and reminiscing about his previous visit and the impact of “The A Team.” A special moment unfolded when he joined forces with Ben&Ben for “Maybe the Night,” showcasing his appreciation for Filipino music.

Throughout the concert, Ed treated us to an array of songs from his Mathematics Album, including classics like “Thinking Out Loud” and “Photograph,” and covers like “Love Yourself” and “Beautiful People.” The night culminated in a spectacular finale with “Shape of You” and “Bad Habits,” accompanied by fireworks.

Expressing his gratitude to fans, Ed promised to return sooner than seven years, acknowledging the dedication of his Filipino audience. As a longtime fan, attending the concert was a dream come true, evoking memories of childhood and milestones while his music continues to resonate with me through life’s highs and lows. Ed Sheeran’s concert was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that left a lasting impact on my soul.
