Most Prominent Manufacturers at Taiwan Excellence Hardware Showcase

A hardware showcase event was held in Taipei, Taiwan, primarily to demonstrate Taiwan’s advancement in hardware products. This will boost Taiwanese morale and interest in developing their own hardware products, which will eventually improve the country’s economic standing, displaying at Taiwan Excellence Hardware Showcase.

Six Taiwan Excellence Hardware Showcase Award winners recently unveiled ground-breaking advancements for the hardware manufacturing industry at the Taiwan Excellence Hardware Showcase, a digital event held in Taiwan.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the showcase was one of several online streamed conferences hosted by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) that introduced Taiwan’s innovations to the growing international hardware market.

Over 700 visitors tuned in for a closer look at Taiwan’s latest and most eye-catching innovations during the one-hour event.

Taiwan remains a major global player in the hardware market, exporting nearly US$3.8 billion in 2019, ranking the country third in the world.

The presenting companies and their products represent the industry’s highest quality, most innovative, and highest-performing hardware and pneumatic tools at Taiwan Excellence Hardware Showcase.

The following companies were among those who presented:

1. Kuani Gear Co., Ltd. Kuani introduced their Gearless Angle Impact Wrench, which simplifies automobile/motorcycle maintenance with its fully adjustable, one-of-a-kind 360-degree swivel feature that improves access in engine bays and other confined spaces. Its low-recoil design also contributes to less operator fatigue.

2. Tien-I Industrial Co., Ltd. introduced new spinning impact extensions, which effectively solved the problem of professional vehicle mechanics losing their grip on traditional impact extensions. They enable mechanics to complete their tasks in confined spaces such as under the hood or chassis in an efficient and safe manner.

3. Shuter Enterprises, Inc. The RC High-Efficiency Work Station was delivered by Ltd. Shuter introduced a work station that applies its leading industrial technology to the residential market to help home owners efficiently set up Do-It-Yourself (DIY) workshops in their own garages by providing industrial-strength load capacity and space-saving versatility.

4. Williams Tool Company, Ltd. With patented torque adjustment to eliminate over-tightening, the company’s internationally acclaimed “Screen Slipping T-handle Torque Screwdriver” protects both the user and the tool. The screwdriver has been tested to 30,000 cycles and is made of environmentally friendly silicon-chromoly steel. It also has internal storage space for 12 hex bits.

6. The PRSL 300, an innovative pipe inspection videoscope system with a real-time display, was unveiled by Medical Intubation Technology Corporation (MitCorp). It’s a foolproof inspection tool, thanks to a one-of-a-kind probe with a self-leveling camera that maintains an upright image as the probe moves smoothly through any pipe. The use of high-durability High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) fiberglass also allows the probe to smoothly rotate, expand, and retract while protecting the image signal drive circuit board and slip ring for a lightweight, wear-resistant, and waterproof unit.

The Taiwan Excellence Hardware Showcase, along with TAITRA-hosted series of online conferences, is part of the Taiwan Industry Image Promotion Project organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) and the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) that promotes the latest products and technologies developed by Taiwanese companies.
