MicroSourcing hosts the first MicroTech event

On March 4, MICROSOURCING presented its first MicroTech event webinar. This was done in partnership with the National Information and Communications Technology Confederation of the Philippines and its media partner The Manila Times.

One Giant Leap Forward for Information Technology Development MicroTech The conference “Engineered for Excellence,” which had approximately 200 IT professionals in attendance, centered on the ways in which businesses drive the growth of information technology (IT) and its effect on employment in the local area.

At the beginning of the webinar, Haidee Enriquez, Chief Executive Officer of MicroSourcing and Beepo, spoke about the expansion of the BPO industry in the Philippines and, as a direct consequence of this growth, the rising demand for IT specialists. According to Enriquez, “We’re witnessing a very significant shift in the requirements of our clients,” and as a result, “it’s now transitioned to where the majority, up to 70%, of our employment requirements are in the tech [technology] arena.”

In addition, prominent members of the industry were present for the webinar. John Erwin Magno, founder and owner of Line Learning and Development Solutions, spoke about Change Management. Mary Joy Abueg, president of the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines, spoke about data privacy. Faelmar Taada, Network Manager and Server Administrator at Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS), spoke about AI in Intent-Based Networks. Finally, the MicroSourcing Non-Employee Referral Program (MicroNERP) was introduced to the public during the very first MicroTech event. Under the terms of the initiative, non-employees who provide candidates to Microsourcing in exchange for high incentives and commissions will be rewarded.

MicroSourcing and Beepo are committed to paving the way for more Filipinos to have access to global opportunities, with an expected growth of over 3,500 volume in 2022. In addition to providing offshoring support to more clients in specialized fields, MicroSourcing and Beepo are providing support to more clients in general.
