Megawide obtains ISO recognition

MEGAWIDE Construction Corp., also known as Megawide, was recently awarded the ISO recognition 9001:2015 accreditation for its precast and construction solutions, as well as its formwork, ready-mix concrete, building equipment, and building solutions.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management systems is awarded to businesses that can consistently provide goods and services that increase customer satisfaction, adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements, and demonstrate a commitment to improving goods, services, procedures, and processes (QMS).
According to Markus Hennig, the executive vice president for Business Units at Megawide, once we have this ISO certification under our belts, we will be better equipped to support the business’ ongoing pivot to infrastructure and, at the same time, it will enable us to service other industry players in the same arena. Both of these benefits will come at the same time.
The Quality Management System (QMS) is required in order for a company to be considered for high-level project bids. This commitment of the organization to operational excellence and innovation is evidenced by the QMS.
According to Hen, having a certified QMS assists us in accomplishing this goal and ensures that our design, products, and methodology meet project requirements, regulatory benchmarks, and client specifications. Furthermore, it helps to strengthen value-added propositions and increases the likelihood of potential partnerships with both local and international players. “We are aware that the creation of important and huge infrastructure requires specialized knowledge over an extended period of time as well as compliance with stringent technical and safety standards.”
Additionally, Megawide has been awarded a variety of different certifications. These include the occupational health and safety management system OHSAS 18001:2007, the environmental management system ISO recognition ISO 14001:2004, and the older incarnations of the ISO 9001 standard. The all-encompassing approach that ISO 9001:2008 takes to providing outstanding service and quality management makes it stand out from other standards.
