Liferay, a global company that provides experiences on the web, mobile, and connected devices, expects double-digit growth in the current fiscal year, in line with rising demand for cloud-enabled personalised customer experiences.

Despite the pandemic and economic slowdown, the open-source company experienced sales hit triple-digit growth in digital experience platforms (DXPs) in the Mena region over a five-year period as a result of increased demand and repeat business from its customers.

This regional increase stems from the UAE’s, Saudi Arabia’s, Egypt’s, and the wider region’s promising and fast-growing markets, which have a strong portfolio of customers from the governments, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, and manufacturing sectors. These industries are seeing an increase in unified and optimized experiences across platforms and touchpoints, as well as cloud scaling for increased agility and flexibility to drive digital transformation.

“At Liferay, our mission is to ignite innovation and optimize experiences through technology, and our results reflect that mission.” “The Middle East is one of the fastest growing regions in the world, and we expect steady growth this year as well,” said Moussalam Dalati, GM of Liferay Middle East. “In addition to B2B and B2C business models, D2C and B2E business models are excelling as major drivers in the post-pandemic era of spiraling digital service adoption.” We are committed to supporting the digital transformation initiatives of the region’s public and private sector organizations as we expand aggressively in the Middle East.”

According to a recent Gartner study, Cloud is expected to be the centerpiece of digital experiences, so it is not surprising that demand for Cloud experiences has increased. According to Marketwatch, the imminent need for personalised user experiences across multiple channels, touchpoints, and devices throughout the customer interaction and engagement process is driving increased investments in DXPs, with a projected CAGR of 15.5% from 2020 to 2027 across MEA. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia’s decision to adopt open-source software, such as Liferay’s solutions for real-time data activation for accelerated innovation, is driving significant spending as enterprises embark on their transformation journey in line with the nation’s vision.

Liferay’s customer-first and partner-centric approach is critical to the company’s goals. Through successful partnerships, the ecosystem’s rapidly expanding partner network enables it to innovate, scale, and serve. A rich innovative and agile culture formed by a multi-cultural, diverse, and collaborative workforce is also a major contributor to the company’s success.

“Our rewarding sales hit triple-digit are a direct result of our strong corporate ethos, which is based on shared vision, complete transparency, empowerment, and a deep-rooted team spirit among Liferay employees to thrive alongside the company – a model that augments growth and performance.” “A happy and motivated workforce has a direct impact on the productivity of the teams,” said Dalati.
