Flipkart has launched the Flipkart Health Plus app

On the Flipkart Health Plus platform, there will be an increase of more than 500 independent retailers.
As part of Flipkart’s expansion into the healthcare industry, the company has introduced the Flipkart Health Plus mobile application.
The application may be downloaded from the Android Play Store right now, and it will be made accessible on the iOS App Store in the very near future.
As of right now, the new app acts as a platform for intermediary marketplace transactions.
New Delhi: On Wednesday, Walmart group business Flipkart announced its debut into the healthcare industry by releasing a new app called Flipkart Health Plus. The goal of the app is to capitalize on Flipkart’s reach and provide services to over 20,000 pin codes across the country.
The Flipkart Health Flipkart Health Plus platform will enroll over 500 independent sellers with a network of qualified pharmacists for the validation of medical prescriptions and the appropriate dispensing of medicines, according to a statement released by the firm.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Prashant Jhaveri, CEO of Flipkart Health Plus, remarked that Indians have experienced a remarkable movement in favor of wellness and preventative healthcare, with a higher emphasis on health and wellbeing than there has ever been before.
“Through Flipkart Health+, we intend to bridge the essential gap in access to authentic medicines, healthcare products, and services across the country,” Jhaveri added. “This is especially important in the sections of the country that are the most distant and neglected.”
According to the statement, the application may be downloaded right now through the Google Play Store for Android devices, and Apple will make it accessible through the App Store in the near future.
Flipkart has stated that it has implemented various quality checks and verification protocols, despite the fact that it is a marketplace platform that acts as an intermediary. This is done in order to facilitate the delivery of genuine medicines and healthcare products from independent sellers to the doorstep of the customer.
