Far East Advance Plastics Corp. (FEAPC), the Philippines’ sole provider of thermoplastic building materials for large-scale infrastructure projects, recently opened its newest pipe manufacturer plant in Carmona, Cavite, providing the best solution to the country’s infrastructure challenges through the latest advancements in material and manufacturing technologies, including its flagship product Durapipe.

“FEAPC identified the need to develop drainage, sewerage, flood control, and irrigation systems in our country. “It is our desire to serve our countrymen with long-lasting and dependable infrastructure materials,” stated FEAPC chairman Roberto Chan Sr.

FEAPC manufactures the world’s largest high-density polyethylene drainage and sewerage pipes. The structured wall HDPE pipe can sustain live loads such as truck and car traffic because of its distinctive construction.

“Today, we live in a world where the material available to develop our nation and infrastructure is unstable. Leaks and breaks are common in reinforced concrete pipes. “Durapipe helps us handle difficulties with our water, drainage, and sewerage systems,” said FEAPC marketing director Neil Elpusan.

Durapipe is chemically inert and will not break. Because of the ease of installation, it is a cost-effective solution for contractors and developers. Durapipe is leak-proof even in the most extreme conditions because it is composed of flexible material. Unlike typical concrete pipe manufacturer systems, which are prone to leaks and polluting our subsurface waters, the material running through Durapipe will never seep out and poison the body of water around it.

Durapipe also outlasts concrete in terms of wear and crack resistance. It is resistant to external shocks such as earthquakes and heavy automobiles.

Several infrastructure projects in Baguio City, Davao, Batangas, Laguna, Cavite, Pampanga, and Zambales have employed Durapipe.

Durawall, a PVC sheet pile produced by FEAPC, is a cost-effective alternative to steel or concrete sheet piling. It’s UV and impact resistant, as well as strong, light, and long-lasting. It’s ideal for sheet piling because it’s non-corrosive, non-rusting, and non-cracking. Durawall is built to last and maintain structural integrity over time.

Duraroof is another FEAPC trademark product, made of high-quality homogeneous colored polyvinyl chloride (PVC) materials that do not rust, paint, or require maintenance. It’s an all-weather roofing and siding panel made for tropical climes and high-corrosion environments like the beach and chemically dangerous locations.

Durapipe, Durawall, and Duraroof can last up to 100 years thanks to sophisticated thermoplastic technology.
