Michelle Bautista, GLC division head for channel sales, stated that the partnership gives Telavi access to at least one million CMI-served households in the Philippines.

“Overall, if you look at the China Mobile market, we are looking at over a million households for our Telavi,” Bautista said.

Furthermore, Bautista stated that CMI serves approximately 100 telco and internet service providers nationwide with whom GLC can collaborate in the long run.

Co, for his part, stated that GLC and CMI are working on new projects that they hope to launch before the end of the year. When asked about these commitments, GLC executives said they would make them public soon, admitting that they had signed a non-disclosure agreement with CMI.

“CMI is Telavi’s first key partner in the Philippines this year, and we see a lot of potential in working with them because of their strong relationships with cable operators nationwide.” Not to mention their extensive telco portfolio, to which we can attach not only Telavi, but also our own solution offerings,” Co explained.

GLC specializes in business communications innovations and solutions as part of its goal to become a one-stop shop for cloud and telephony services.
