On the water’s edge of The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah is where you’ll find Chérie a new coastal restaurant, a hip new homegrown Euro-Asian spot that has quickly become popular.

Chérie will be the newest addition to the hustling and bustling personality of Dubai’s newest foodie hot spot, located at the tip of Palm Jumeirah, perfectly positioned on the shoreline of The Pointe, and directly across the bay from Atlantis, the Palm.

Before Chérie’s grand opening on March 26, Time Out Dubai was given the opportunity to take an exclusive first look inside the restaurant.

The expansive menu at Chérie will feature a wide range of dishes that each draw inspiration from their respective regions, Europe and Thailand. Guests will have a wide variety of options to choose from, including appetizers that can be shared, main courses that are popular in Europe and Thailand, and, of course, sweet endings. ( A justifiable cause to keep coming back over and over.

Diners will be able to indulge in signature dishes that feature the umami flavor, such as fresh tuna tartare that has been marinated in a sauce made of soy, chili, garlic, and ginger. Flavor and fresh ingredients are at the heart of this extensive menu in a new coastal restaurant.

Other dishes that are considered to be signatures include a lobster bisque that is both fresh and flavorful, as well as a Thai red curry with portobello mushrooms that is served with jasmine rice that has been wrapped in kale leaf. Both of these dishes are inspired by Thai cuisine.

Chérie will have a bar that is fully licensed and will have an atmosphere that is both casual and elegant. Diners will be able to enjoy drinks that have been specially crafted to go along with small bites or a full meal.

Chérie has embraced the most Instagrammable aesthetics and made noticeable nods to its Thai and European roots; pops of jungle green and French Riviera coral are paired with textured elements like bamboo and brushed gold accents. Chérie’s roots are in both Thailand and Europe.

You have the option of sitting at a table on the restaurant’s terrace with your go-to dining companion and taking in the view of the world-famous Atlantis the Palm hotel, or you can dine in the restaurant’s lively and whimsical interiors.
