AIRASIA Philippines, the world’s best low-cost airline, has announced a 20% discount on flights and a 50% discount on hotels to assist Filipino travelers returning to provinces for the holiday and summer season

AirAsia has announced that it will relocate its domestic operations back to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4 in anticipation of the influx of guests flying for summer and Holy Week.

This applies to guests with domestic inbound and outbound flights on or after March 28, 2022.

The transfer to NAIA Terminal 4 coincides with Department of Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade’s recent announcement on February 28, officially reactivating the terminal’s operations after it had been closed for more than two years due to the pandemic.

Travelers are expected to take advantage of the loosened travel restrictions and ongoing promotions of air carriers, such as AirAsia’s Super App deals, which offer 20% off all flights and 50% off hotels and can be booked from March 16 to 18 for travel from Oct. 1, 2022 to March 25, 2023.

According to Steve Dailisan, spokesman for AirAsia Philippines, travel is expected to rebound, as evidenced by an increase in passengers traveling by air and the relaxation of travel protocols.

“As we expect this number to double in time for summer and Holy Week, we at AirAsia are committed to maintaining our brand of high-quality guest service at its peak,” he said.

Dailisan stated that they are upgrading their check-in counters at T4 in order to provide guests with a seamless travel experience and to familiarize them with the online check-in option via Super App in order to facilitate easy and quick check-in procedures.

Guests are also encouraged to check their flight status on a regular basis via My bookings on the AirAsia Flysafe landing page.

AirAsia Philippines recently increased its frequency of flights to popular summer destinations like Caticlan (Boracay), Kalibo, Cebu, Tagbilaran (Panglao), and Puerto Princesa.

Flights to other cities such as Bacolod, Iloilo, Tacloban, and Cagayan de Oro have also been increased.

AirAsia Philippine’s international flight operations will continue to be based at NAIA Terminal 3, where they are currently based.
