Sparkle stars recently shared insights into their travel habits

Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and “Asawa ng Asawa Ko” star Rayver Cruz, alongside Philippine TV’s New Action Hero Ruru Madrid and Kapuso Prime Gem Bianca Umali, as well as Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza and Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco, are gearing up to enthrall fans on a world tour in Canada this April.

During a recent media conference at GMA Studios to announce the “Sparkle Goes to Canada” show, the pairs expressed their excitement about staging two concerts in Canada and meeting fellow Kapuso and global Pinoys.

Julie Anne shared her enthusiasm for the trip, reminiscing about her previous visit to Taste of Manila in Toronto in August 2023, where she and Rayver enjoyed performing for a massive crowd.

Bianca invited fans to join them for a night of entertainment, promising singing, dancing, and games. Ruru added that the trip to Canada would also serve as a break from their taping schedules, allowing them to bond with Kapuso fans abroad.

The stars also shared insights into their travel habits during the media conference. Ruru and Bianca described their complementary roles in travel planning, with Bianca as the navigator and Ruru as the communicator. Julie Anne praised Rayver’s spontaneity and generosity, while Rayver jokingly mentioned Julie Anne’s hearty appetite during their travels. Barbie and David revealed their strategic seating arrangement on airplanes, with Barbie taking the aisle seat for restroom breaks.

“Sparkle Goes to Canada” promises to be one of Sparkle’s biggest offerings in 2024, featuring back-to-back shows in Calgary and Toronto. Fans can expect stellar production numbers and surprises from their favorite Kapuso stars, including Barbie and David, who are set to star in the upcoming GMA Primetime Show “Pulang Araw.”
