Rookie standout Angeline Poyos delivered a stellar performance, leading the charge with 22 points, showcasing her versatility and impact on the court. Xyza Gula and Regina Jurado also made significant contributions with 14 and 12 points, respectively, bolstering Santo Tomas’ offensive firepower. The Golden Tigresses’ cohesive teamwork and determination were evident as they overcame UP’s challenges to secure another crucial win.

Meanwhile, Ateneo bounced back from previous setbacks with a hard-fought 25-19, 25-19, 22-25, 25-23 victory against Adamson University. Lyann de Guzman and Sophia Buena spearheaded Ateneo’s offensive onslaught, each tallying an impressive 22 points. Despite facing tough resistance from Adamson, Ateneo showcased resilience and composure to clinch the win in four sets. The victory propels Ateneo back into contention, positioning them to make a strong push towards the Final Four.
