Miss Universe 2022 and Filipino-American model-designer R’Bonney Gabriel has dazzled social media with her latest creation: a stunning outfit crafted entirely from chocolate wrappers.

In a series of posts, R’Bonney showcased her innovative top made from Ferrero Rocher chocolate wrappers, detailing the meticulous process of its creation. She shared videos demonstrating how she cut out circles from the wrappers, punched holes in them, and expertly arranged them on a dress form, eventually connecting them with chainmail—a technique she had recently learned.

Pairing her sustainable top with denim jeans embellished with gold foil transfer—a skill she also recently acquired—R’Bonney showcased her commitment to both fashion and sustainability. Even her earrings were crafted from chocolate wrappers, while she repurposed an original Ferrero Rocher container into a makeshift purse.

With her outfit complete, R’Bonney humorously declared, “So I can have gold everything head to toe,” adding, “Looking like a whole snack.”

Her creative ensemble garnered praise from peers in the pageant world, including Miss Universe Aruba 2022 Kiara Arends and former Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart.

Before her reign as Miss Universe, R’Bonney was an advocate for sustainable fashion—a cause she continues to champion, even after passing on her crown to Nicaragua’s Sheynnis Palacios.
